A new Baseline hackspace for founders is set to open its doors in Dublin in June 2024.
A new workspace for early-stage tech entrepreneurs called Baseline is due to open its doors in Dublin’s Liberties district.
The venture is backed by Broadstone, a founder-led fund run by Eamon Leonard and Fiona Kelly.

In a LinkedIn post this week, Leonard said that membership of Baseline is open to founders who are serious about building scalable business by solving hard problems using software.

“Baseline is a place for founders to collaborate with their team, learn from peers, and be plugged into wider network of European founders, early stage risk takers, and investors.
“We believe there is an imbalance in the Irish tech ecosystem, largely driven by various government programmes and not enough home-grown success stories. There’s more than one way to build a startup into a fully scaled up global leader, and we’re building Baseline to be the independent space where founders can experiment, execute with urgency, and take the first steps towards building great breakout businesses.”
Leonard said that the new space is privately-funded and will be open 24/7.
The community is solely made up of founders, exited founders, angel investors and early-stage venture capitalists.
“We believe it’s more helpful for founders to be surrounded only by those who are also focused on building and creating value, than the landing teams of tech multinationals,” Leonard explained.
“We believe that founders who want to be great would prefer to focus on developing tech, building relationships with customers, and partnering with world-class investors, than preparing for a demo day.
