The company attributes its expansion to its focus on delivering quality products at competitive prices, alongside a strong omnichannel presence that caters to both in-store and online customers.

“We are pleased to bring Bookstation to The Crescent Shopping Centre, one of the busiest retail destinations in Ireland,” said Gerry Gallagher, founder and managing director of Bookstation.

“This new store allows us to better serve the book-loving community in Limerick, and we look forward to welcoming customers from the area.”

As part of the company’s expansion, Bookstation plans to create 12 new jobs across its new stores, contributing to local employment in the communities it serves. Further growth opportunities are being explored, with additional locations expected to be announced in the near future.

Bookstation, which was founded in 1990, has grown rapidly in recent years, driven by a combination of strong retail standards, customer-focused service, and a commitment to offering great value across its three main categories: books, stationery, and cards.

This growth reflects the company’s ability to meet evolving consumer needs, particularly in a time when affordability and convenience are increasingly important.

The upcoming opening in Santry will bring the total number of Bookstation stores to 20, with more expansion plans on the horizon.
