Irish AI market research player Bounce Insights raises $4.5m

Brands from Coca-Cola to Diageo and Tesco trust young Dublin business Bounce Insights to power vital customer insights.

Irish business Bounce Insights has raised $4.5m (€4.27m) in a funding round that will see the company open a New York office and triple its workforce to 75 people by the end of 2026.

The investment in Bounce was led by Irrus Investments, Enterprise Ireland, Digital Irish Venture Fund, alongside industry veteran Ian Kiernan (MRops). Notable angel investors involved in Bounce’s $1.2M raise in November 2022 include Anne Heraty (Cpl Resources), Gareth Lambe (Meta, Medihive), David Shackleton (OpenBack, Ding) and Michael Dwyer (Pigsback).

Targeting a $125bn market research industry market, Bounce Insights powers 90% of the market research process by combining proprietary data, generative AI and expert researchers in-house.

This enables brands to make better decisions, faster with actionable insights at their fingertips. The platform delivers these insights 7x faster and 40% more cost-effectively than traditional research agencies and tools.

Bouncing into business

Bounce launched their platform in 2022 after being founded by Rónán Dowling-Cullen, Charlie Butler, Brandon Dooley, Josh Stafford & Brian O’Mahony in Trinity College.

The company has raised $6.5m to date, winning customers across Europe and North America, including some of the best known brands in the world – Coca Cola, Diageo, Mondelez, Unilever, Pernod Ricard, Clorox, Tesco, Marks & Spencer and many more.
