London calling for workspace firm Grafter

Emma Kennedy’s Grafter opens stylish offices in heart of London.

Irish flexible workspace provider Grafter has unveiled its first premium location in London.

Situated in the heart of Bloomsbury, 23 Bedford Square is an outstanding historic building that has been sympathetically renovated to offer a seamless combination of contemporary design and mature architecture that will cater for every aspect of modern working.

“We are actively looking for new houses in the London market and I personally look forward to seeing growth over the next few months and years”

The venue offers a range of well-proportioned workspaces including private offices for personal use, customised workspaces for start-ups or larger floor space for a growing team.

Grafter, established in 2021, already operates a collection of beautifully restored buildings in the heart of Dublin city, Ireland. The overall aim of the Grafter proposition is to put ‘life’ back into ‘work’ by providing stylish, luxury, productive and creative workspaces that allow work and life to co-exist in harmony.

Intellectual property

A building in London.

Home to some of the world’s leading educational institutions, publishing houses and museums, Bloomsbury is truly the heart of London’s intellectual centre, as well as being a village known for its best-in-class dining, shopping and entertainment. The area dates to the early 1100s and is full of history; it is the namesake of the renowned Bloomsbury Set – which included intellectuals and writers such as Virginia Woolf and E.M. Forester – and home to Bloomsbury Publishing, publishers of the Harry Potter series.

Extending to 5,321 sq. ft over five storeys, Bedford House opens with a generous hallway featuring a stunning staircase that benefits from excellent natural light from the ornate roof window.

The individually designed offices and meeting rooms feature state of the art technology such as high-speed fibre connectivity, video conferencing services and CAT 5E cabling, as well as Bluetooth controlled sit / stand desks. Members have 24/7/365 access, and are supported by a dedicated onsite reception and concierge team.

To facilitate creative collaboration with colleagues or other Grafter members, Bedford House also offers a range of social spaces, a private courtyard and a fully stocked kitchen for conversations and cups of coffee.

“We are very excited to announce our expansion into the UK. Our members frequently travel back and forth between Ireland and the UK, so we felt it was important to have a base in Central London,” Kennedy explained.

“Our Bedford Square building has been extensively refurnished to an exceptional standard and this prime location now offers our members the high-quality flexible workspace and service we provide in all of our Grafter Houses. With its convenient location close to Soho and Mayfair, a five and 10 minute walk away respectively, along with easy access to Gatwick and Heathrow airports, Bedford House was the ideal choice for Grafter’s introduction to the UK flexible and serviced office market.

“We very much look forward to welcoming our new local members to this location. We are delighted they’ve decided to partner with us and greatly appreciate the opportunity to support their business. We are actively looking for new houses in the London market and I personally look forward to seeing growth over the next few months and years,” said Kennedy.
