Grinds 360 secures €3.2m to scale hybrid educational platform

With a roster of some of Ireland’s most experienced teachers across 19 subjects, the AI-driven platform ensures top-tier education for all students.

Pioneering hybrid learning platform Grinds 360 has secured €3.2m in funding from investors that include rugby stars Brian O’Driscoll, Caelan Doris, Jordan Larmour, Sean Cunningham from Brass Monkey New York, Shane Glynn of Lexas Technologies, Stephen Langan, and Kilkenny hurler Walter Walsh.

Combining Ireland’s best teachers with cutting-edge AI technology and an innovative hybrid model, Grinds 360 looks to democratise grind education, ensuring access to students not restricted by geography or finances.

“As a teacher, I’ve seen firsthand how new technologies can tailor learning experiences to meet each student’s unique needs, ensuring they receive the support necessary to succeed”

The platform provides personalised, high-quality education with affordable pricing options, making exceptional grinds accessible nationwide.

A game-changer for education

Founded by experienced secondary school grinds teacher Ronan Murdock and serial entrepreneur Brendan Kavanagh, Grinds 360 was born out of a desire to address gaps in the traditional grinds system and transform the current education landscape.

“Our approach is truly going to enhance education in Ireland,” said co-founder and CEO Ronan Murdock.

“As a teacher, I’ve seen firsthand how new technologies can tailor learning experiences to meet each student’s unique needs, ensuring they receive the support necessary to succeed. The flexibility of our platform allows students to access educational resources anytime, anywhere. With multi-device accessibility, students can engage with content on-the-go, such as taking quick quizzes during their daily commute.

“This approach not only makes learning more intuitive and engaging but also helps students retain information more effectively, mirroring how they naturally interact with content on platforms like TikTok and YouTube. It’s exciting to be part of a solution that will help so many achieve their academic goals.”

This vision has attracted some of Ireland’s best and most experienced teachers, committed to this mission. These educators, covering 19 subjects, bring extensive expertise and a proven track record of exceptional student results. By joining Grinds 360, these seasoned professionals aim to provide personalised, effective grind learning experiences tailored to each student’s unique needs, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to achieve their full potential.

Students can sign up for Grinds 360 on its website, with grinds beginning on 2 September. This launch marks a significant step forward in transforming the educational landscape. With the combination of advanced technology, personalised support, flexibility and teacher quality, Grinds 360 is set to provide students with the tools and resources they need to truly reach their full potential.

“We are passionate about transforming the grind system in Ireland to make high-quality education accessible to all students,” said Brendan Kavanagh, chair and co-founder of Grinds 360.

“Traditional grinds models have significant limitations, including high costs, geographical barriers, and a reluctance to embrace technology. Grinds 360 aims to eliminate these issues by leveraging advanced technology and a hybrid learning approach. Our platform provides personalised, high-quality resources tailored to each student’s needs, ensuring they can achieve their full potential. We believe every student deserves the best possible education.”
