Growing demand for Irish whiskey in Europe sees Midleton Distillery Collection available direct to consumers in Italy and Spain.
Irish Distillers’ online store Midleton Distillery Collection has expanded to Italy and Spain to meet demand for its whiskey brands.
Midleton Distillery Collection is home to Ireland’s finest and best loved whiskey brands including Jameson, Redbreast, Midleton Very Rare, Powers, the Spot Whiskeys, Method and Madness, and Knappogue Castle.
“We are delighted to open two more European markets to support the growth of our brands with plans to open the Netherlands and Austrian markets before the end of the year”
Prior to the expansion, consumers and corporates from Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and UK, Germany, Switzerland, South Africa, Singapore, Japan, China, Australia and New Zealand could purchase and ship directly from the platform.
Seasonal gifting
“Midleton Distillery Collection is a destination site which provides consumers with unique and personalised Irish whiskey offerings that they can’t get elsewhere,” explained Louise Tevlin, e-commerce manager, Midleton Distillery Collection.
“We are delighted to open two more European markets to support the growth of our brands with plans to open the Netherlands and Austrian markets before the end of the year.”
“Midleton Distillery Collection also offers a corporate gifting service with access to a premium gift selection and offers a smooth and efficient service with personalisation, multi-recipient and multi-market delivery, all with the touch of a button.
“This allows businesses to take the heavy lifting out of seasonal gifting and to show appreciation for colleagues at pivotal company milestones. It is no surprise therefore, that demand for the service has grown in the 12 months since it launched. And now corporate customers can send gifts to even more locations in Europe, just in time for the 2024 gifting-season,”
Midleton Distillery Collection also offers a corporate gifting service which is designed for users who wish to gift colleagues, customers, clients or business partners throughout the year to mark company successes and milestones or to celebrate seasonal holidays such as Christmas.
Recent research by Midleton Distillery Collection revealed that 22% of Irish businesses plan to send gifts to clients, partners or employees overseas this year. The expanded service now allows corporate customers to send gifts to Italy and Spain in addition to existing markets.
Additionally, a key feature of the corporate gifting service is the option to have products from a single order shipped directly to multiple recipients in different locations around the world. Tracking information for each individual recipient is also provided.
