The Barrel Sauna
The Barrel Sauna has multiple locations and providers across the country. The most popular among these is The Barrel Sauna at The Boat Yard in Greystones, Co Wicklow. This family-owned business run by Laura and Rob Gunning offers on-site sauna services and has received high ratings from customers, with a 4.9-star rating from 144 reviews. The company has grown from its base in Greystones to open further premises in Tallaght and Dundrum in Dublin.
The Barrel Sauna concept has gained significant popularity in Ireland. The Greystones Guide recommends: “Grab yourself a 45-minute session for €12 rather than €17.50, or enjoy a private session with up to nine friends for €100 instead of the usual €150, there’s never been a better time to find out why the Finnish always look so dang healthy and annoyingly happy.”
Big Dipper Sauna
The Big Dipper is a unique sauna and spa experience located on the Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland, offering a stunning 50-minute session with incredible views of Inishturk and Clare Island, Carrowniskey beach, and Croagh Patrick’s peak.

Driftwood Sauna, located ocean-side in Spiddal, Co. Galway, offers unique sauna experiences along Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.
