“The addition of EnviroBead to the NetZero Group marks another milestone in our journey to lead Ireland’s building decarbonisation efforts”
Since launching, NetZero has rapidly established itself as Ireland’s foremost provider of building decarbonisation services. Following the acquisition of EnviroBead, the decarb ‘super group’ will have a workforce of 700 people and combined turnover of €150m.
Super troopers
NetZero’s ambitious buy-and-build strategy has already seen the successful integration of Gaffney Mechanical and O’Connor Heating and Plumbing, the largest installers of heat pumps in Ireland, as well as Caldor Solar, an innovative provider of solar PV solutions nationally and Zetta Home Services, a tech-enabled provider of installation and maintenance services focused on heat pumps and solar PV systems.
The acquisition of EnviroBead expands NetZero Group’s capabilities beyond heat pump and solar PV systems to include insulation and deep retrofit services, further supporting Ireland’s transition to a net-zero future.
“We are pleased to join the NetZero Group of companies, and to be part of a larger mission to drive Ireland’s energy transition,” said EnviroBead CEO Brian McHugh.
“By combining our expertise in insulation systems and deep retrofit, with NetZero’s strengths in solar PV, heat pump installation and tech enabled maintenance services, we are well-positioned to offer even greater value to our customers and contribute meaningfully to the country’s net-zero goals.”
The acquisition was welcomed by NetZero Group chair and partner at Waterland Ireland Laura Dillon.
“The addition of EnviroBead to the NetZero Group marks another milestone in our journey to lead Ireland’s building decarbonisation efforts,” she said.
“EnviroBead’s expertise in insulation systems and deep retrofit complements our existing capabilities, enabling us to offer a comprehensive suite of energy efficiency solutions to our growing customer base, on a national scale.
“We are committed to continuing our rapid expansion and playing a pivotal role in Ireland’s path to a sustainable energy ecosystem.”
