Noledge Group invests €1.8m in UK expansion

Irish cloud business looks to new horizons with UK operation in Newcastle.

The Noledge Group has revealed plans to establish its first full-time in-market office in Newcastle in the UK where it predicts it will grow its revenue in the UK to €1.2m in the first 12 months.

It said the expansion will involve an investment of €1.8m and will generate 10 new full-time jobs.

Cloud and ERP player The Noledge Group forecasts turnover of €3.5m from the UK market within three years, up from €295,000.

Scaling overseas

Roles will include sales, pre-sales and consulting and the expansion will see the business’s overall headcount reach 60 people.

“We are excited to expand our footprint in the UK and deliver our cutting-edge accounting and ERP solutions to a wider base,” said Ray Ryan, CEO of The Noledge Group.

“Customers have been asking us to bring our unique mix of personal relationships and extensive product and industry knowledge to the market, and we’re looking forward to getting boots on the ground and building on this increasing appetite. Within our growing team, we have a vast array of skillsets and expertise, and our customer-first approach means we understand our customers’ businesses and their unique requirements.”

He said the group achieved a turnover of €4.9m across the business in 2023.

The UK expansion will be spearheaded by UK managing director Chris Hawley.

“We are also delighted to welcome Chris to the team as he spearheads our operations in the UK,” Ryan added.

“He brings rich and valuable experience across Sage and NetSuite technologies to this new role, and his industry knowledge will be indispensable as we continue to scale up our capabilities in the market.”
