New Prep4Seed programme prepares founders for fundraising

13 Enterprise Ireland High Growth start-ups have been chosen to complete the Prep4Seed Programme delivered by the Irish BICs.

The second Enterprise Ireland Prep4Seed 12-week Programme has commenced with a Masterclass on the Foundations of Investor Readiness run by Furthr in Dublin.

The programme, delivered by the four Irish Business Innovation Centres (BICs), in collaboration with Enterprise Ireland brings High Growth start-up clients through the investor readiness process quickly and effectively.

13 companies were selected from all over Ireland from a variety of industry sectors including fintech, Food, ICT, edtech, deeptech and renewable energy.

The Companies participating are: Emere Procurement, Konree Innovation, Maya Data Privacy, Skippio, Voice Tune, REClosure, Customs Window, Harley & Marley, Community Energy Finance, Femtech Healthcare, Everywhere English, Retrokit Limited and Hibra Design.

Investor readiness

The Prep4Seed programme includes five Masterclasses run by the Irish BICS and six one-to-one meetings concentrating on client-led bespoke activity with experienced BIC consultants. The one-to-ones ensures that content from the Masterclasses is applied in a relevant way to each company. The individual, tailored company focus, brings these start-up companies through the investor readiness process quickly and effectively. Participants are also brought through intensive investor pitch preparation sessions and trial pitches preparing them for Investor Pitch Day.

Commenting on their participation in the Prep4Seed Programme in May 2023, Shane O’Connor, co-Founder of Seriously Sound Food said: “The Prep4Seed programme came at a pivotal point in our journey and not only helped us to hone and polish our investor pitch it also helped us to gain a better understanding of our business model and what we needed to focus on to succeed.”

The 12 week programme culminates with the Investor Pitch Day on November 28th where all companies will pitch to Investors and VCs at Enterprise Ireland’s HQ in Dublin.
