Acquisition will see commercial property player Savills Ireland scale significantly in Northern Ireland.
Savills Ireland has signalled a key investment in Northern Ireland with the acquisition of established commercial property agency Osborne King.
The acquisition will expand Savills presence in Northern Ireland and strengthens its position as the largest real estate advisor on the island of Ireland, with more than 450 employees.
“This combination allows the firm to deliver more tailored and innovative property solutions to clients in Northern Ireland”
It aligns Savills broader growth strategy across Ireland, where it already has offices in Belfast, Cork, and Dublin.
Seamless transition
Osborne King brings significant expertise in commercial leasing, sales, property management, and valuations, adding further depth to Savills service offering in Northern Ireland.
As part of the acquisition, Osborne King’s staff will relocate to Savills Belfast office at Longbridge House, Waring Street, in the coming months.
This move will coincide with the official rebranding of Osborne King as Savills, ensuring a seamless transition for both clients and employees.
“Osborne King’s deep local market expertise and strong reputation for excellence align seamlessly with Savills comprehensive service offerings,” said Mark Reynolds, managing director of Savills Ireland.
“This combination allows the firm to deliver more tailored and innovative property solutions to clients in Northern Ireland. Additionally, the acquisition will enhance Savills recurring revenue streams by expanding its Property Management and Valuation service lines, ensuring that the firm can meet the diverse needs of clients across all sectors.
“This acquisition also highlights Savills confidence in the Northern Ireland economy and reflects its commitment to further investing in the region’s commercial property sector, demonstrating its dedication to long-term growth and client success.”
