Sligo engineering firm Tantek 4D creates 30 jobs

Tantek 4D, a digital engineering business founded by two Sligo natives, is to create 30 new jobs as part of an expansion and the establishment of a new headquarters.

Tantek 4D, a digital engineering business founded by two Sligo natives, is to create 30 new jobs as part of an expansion and the establishment of a new headquarters.

Founded in 2018 by Sligo brothers Conor and Paul Tansey, Tantek 4D specialise in leveraging geospatial and building information modelling (BIM) technologies in developing digital twin solutions for the efficient management of facility data across the life sciences, data centre and semiconductor sectors.

The expansion will see the creation of 30 new jobs, with 20 of those based in Sligo and 10 in Dublin.

Entering new markets in the Eurozone

The skill sets required will span across Project Management, Geospatial Surveying, BIM Coordination, Data Analytics, and Software Development.

These jobs will help to fulfil its international expansion plans across new markets including Belgium, Spain and Germany.

The business is going from strength to strength and is a beacon of inspiration for other regional businesses, says Méabh Conaghan, Regional Director, West and North-West, Enterprise Ireland.
