Irish unicorn Workhuman opens global Innovation Hub in Dublin

Workhuman employs more than 600 people in Ireland and has recruited 150 new hires in the past 12 months.

Irish employee recognition tech player Workhuman has opened a new Dublin Innovation Hub on Dame Street at WeWork One Central Plaza.

The expansion adds a central Dublin space to Workhuman’s existing presence at Park West, Dublin 12.

“Ireland is the heart of Workhuman’s product innovation, and we are excited to expand our footprint here, enabling us to further drive our solutions from Dublin to the world”

Workhuman currently employs over 600 people in Ireland, having hired more than 150 employees over the past 12 months. The company is continuously hiring for roles in product, technology, engineering, and operations.

People will have the power through AI

The company said that the new Innovation Hub will serve as a dynamic space for Workhuman’s technology and product teams, facilitating enhanced collaboration and enabling the continued evolution of the company’s product offerings.

Designed to facilitate the development and deployment of the company’s new AI product features, the new space will complement the strategic work already being carried out across Workhuman’s team at Park West. Together, these teams will continue to support key AI-product launches scheduled for 2025 and beyond.

“Our new Innovation Hub is a testament to our commitment to creating innovative environments where teams can collaborate, thrive, and push the boundaries of what’s possible,” said Workhuman’s chief technology officer Jonathan Hyland.

“This additional space will support the continuous development of the next-generation of our AI-powered employee recognition product. Ireland is the heart of Workhuman’s product innovation, and we are excited to expand our footprint here, enabling us to further drive our solutions from Dublin to the world.”

Founded in 1999 and previously known as Globoforce, Workhuman operates employee reward and incentive schemes on behalf of some of the world’s biggest companies and more than 6m employees are on the Workhuman platform across 170 countries.

The business, led by CEO Eric Mosley, achieved unicorn status two years ago when it was valued at more than $1bn.

“Dublin has become a global hub for innovative, fast-growing AI led companies, and Workhuman is leading the way with its AI-powered employee recognition solutions,” said Luke Armstrong, regional president of WeWork Ireland, UK, EMEA and APAC.

“We’re excited to welcome such a transformative company to the WeWork community and look forward to seeing the continued impact they will drive from our space.”
